Previously, you may have dropped this passion for time spent smoking the marijuana. You are now going to replace the marijuana with your passion. Now you may get discouraged from time to time because you may still smoke the marijuana instead of spending time on your source.

Relax, you are just starting out and that may happen at the start or beginning of your changeover. Instead of getting upset at that take a look at what you have done so far. How much have you progressed?

Your decision to stop smoking marijuana may not happen overnight. It is different for everyone.There might be one person that stops completely. There are others like you that may stop in a step-by-step process. That is OK. The most
important factor is that you are moving toward your goal.

The key is progression not necessarily perfection. So when you get home, get started on doing something with your passion. Schedule time to work on your passion. If your passion is to draw, then schedule time slots throughout your
day to draw.

When you actually schedule the time into your day to spend time on your passion, then you are using up the time that you might otherwise have spent smoking.

Don’t ever forget the 21 day rule. It takes approximately 21 days for a habit to be either created or broken.  So you must schedule the new activity that you are going to use that will replace the time spent smoking marijuana. After approximately 21 days of  spending your time with your new activity, you will have created a new habit and in the process gotten rid of the old habit.

The key to accomplish this is to take small steps and think about consistency.  As time passes, the new passion will be what you normally do and the old habit will gradually fade away.

Just remember to schedule your time. What you find is that you will often go over your scheduled time and will continue to work on your new activity. You will find that you will  spend more time with your new activity than you do with your old habit of smoking marijuana.

Techniques to Find Your Source of Strength

If you are trying to stop smoking weed or marijuana, then one of the steps  that you should take is to find where  your source of strength is. You see a lot of people feel like they get their strength from smoking weed.  This is actually really not where their strength comes from.

So what you need to do is to replace the so called marijuana strength and put something else in its place. This could turn out to be a different activity, a hobby, a belief in a higher being, or even a passion that you might have developed.  What you want to do is to look within yourself and see what it is that you feel extremely strong about. What is it that stirs your adrenalin?

Whatever you feel strongly about will help you to feel energized. A true source of strength will help you to overcome any addiction. What you are going to do is to replace the smoking of marijuana with something that will bring you satisfaction and energy over a long period of time.

A great way to help you find your source of strength is to make a chart that you will name your personal highlights chart.

On this chart you will list the important moments in your life. These moments arethe highlights or the times in your life that you really felt good about yourself. These highlights might include your achievements or times that something happened that really gave you a lot of satisfaction.

Once you have written down the highlights, then you want to look through the highlights and figure out which event or highlight had the greatest impact on your life.

to fight the fight against weed addiction.

I don’t know you but I have been where
you are.

In fact…just several years ago, I myself
was also struggling with smoking weed.

I used to smoke every day.  Not because
I wanted to.  Instead, I did it because
I NEEDED to.

I smoked before going to work.
I smoked after work.
I smoked before I slept.
I smoked while watching TV.
I smoked while playing video games.
I smoked while talking to people.
And so forth…

It became a BIG problem for me and it was
almost like I was high all day and all night.

Eventually, I started to realize how big of
a problem it was.  I realized it was a problem
when I would NEED to smoke throughout the
whole day.

I just could not seem to control it myself.

…I had no power over this thing.

And that’s NOT a good place to be.
As a man, I personally don’t like to say
that I don’t have control over situations
in my life.

But to be honest with myself, I was powerless
over marijuana.  That was the TRUTH.

…But I didn’t give up.
